Alex Fuller
UX Designer
Working at EO Group feels a lot like a start-up environment. Teams work together at a fast, efficient pace to achieve goals that, from the outset, can seem impossible.
“I first joined EO Group in 2016 as a User Interface (UI) Designer. Having spent several years before designing and building websites, it became apparent I had a lot of passion for the design aspect. Being a UI Designer allowed me to solely focus on the design and helped me start to explore design languages and how to build and maintain style guides. As my time here progressed, it became apparent how much of a role User Experience (UX) played in my day-to-day work. This inevitably led me to become a UX Designer, where I now work with stakeholders around EO Group to create usable products that we as a business can be proud of.
Working at EO Group feels a lot like a start-up environment. Teams work together at a fast, efficient pace to achieve goals that, from the outset, look impossible. I feel constantly challenged, and I’m often surprised at how much I can achieve in such a short time. It’s hard but rewarding work, especially when the work I’ve produced is well received by customers.
The sense of involvement I feel when working on projects is something I love about EO Group. As a UX Designer, it’s essential I speak to different people in the business. Everyone here always makes time for me, and it makes me feel that my colleagues are as passionate as I am about making EO Group as successful as possible.
A few months into working for EO Group, I was asked to help re-design our platform’s front facing website. At first, it felt like a daunting task, but as I mentioned, working here, you never feel alone. The team worked together to give a fresh feel to the front end and improve several user pain points that had plagued our previous look and feel. It was really rewarding seeing the new design go live, especially when we received such positive feedback from customers.”
