Office Power wins Service Provider of the Year at the Boss Awards 2018

Office Power has won the Service Provider of the Year at this year’s BOSS Industry Awards for the second year running. Office Power combines a bespoke technology platform and dedicated trading and support team to help office supplies dealers grow their businesses, giving them more time and increased profitability. The award ceremony was held at the Tower Guoman Hotel in London on the 29th November 2018 and hosted by stand-up comedian and comedy writer Jo Caulfield. Office Power awarded Stationers’ Company Warrant for third consecutive year

Office Power has been presented with a Stationers’ Company Warrant for its technology and support services for the third consecutive year. The company was initially awarded the prestigious warrant in 2016 after the judges were impressed with the way they support Office Supplies dealers ‘to concentrate on growing both their brand and more importantly profitable sales’. At the Company’s Warrant Awards this month, the judges decided to extend the warrant in recognition of further innovation and development of the Office Power service. The Stationers’ Company Warrant was introduced by Past Master Helen Esmonde in 2014 to recognise and promote excellent products and services. Eurostat, the £6M dealer, has been rebranded and fully merged with Euroffice, following its acquisition by EO Group in February. EO Group appoints John Browett as chairman

John Browett takes the reigns as Euroffice Group chairman as the organisation prepares for further growth. EO Group has appointed John Browett as chairman. Browett joins EO Group with extensive experience at senior management level across retail, technology and M&A, including CEO positions at Dixons, Dunelm and Tesco.com. He was also global VP at Apple Retail and has held non-exec roles at Octopus Ventures and easyJet. EO Group acquires Eurostat

EO Group acquires leading independent office supplies dealer Eurostat. Founded in 1991, Eurostat Office Solutions is one of the largest independent office supplies companies in the UK. Under the command of Stefan Mercado, it has grown to over 60 people with offices in London, Sheffield, Bristol and Brighton. The two companies initially met to discuss the possibility of Eurostat joining Office Power, however, after nearly 30 years at the helm, Stefan was keen to exit the business and retire. Described as ‘too good an opportunity to pass by’ and a ‘very strong strategic fit’ by EO Group’s CEO Simon Drakeford, the acquisition will, among other things, allow EO Group to increase its buying power, further develop the Office Power platform, improve the group’s category roll-out plans and drive customer loyalty. …
