Office Power receives the Stationers Company Warrant

Office Power, the technology platform and support team giving dealers the insight and resources they need to confidently strengthen their businesses, collected the prestigious Stationers’ Company Warrant at the association’s annual awards on 10th October. Introduced in 2015, the warrants acknowledge excellence in the communications and content industry in the annual awards. The warrants, which were introduced in 2015, recognise excellence within the communications and content industries and are awarded to products and services that the judges believe meet the highest standards of excellence. The warrant will be officially presented to the company by The Master of the Stationers’ Company at The Livery Lunch at Stationers Hall on 10 October. OFFICE POWER PARTNERS WITH YORKSHIRE’S WT SUPPLIES

Office Power, the technology platform and support team giving office supplies dealers the confidence and control to make their businesses stronger, has partnered with WT Supplies in West Yorkshire. The partnership is central to the WT Supplies’ plans to break the £2m turnover barrier by 2018. Keighley-based WT Supplies was formed in 1980 by Ernest Walton and purchased by its current owners – Mark and Sara Exley – in 2002. Ernest was terminally ill and keen to sell to a company that would continue to look after his customers the way he did. DEALERS WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS IF THEY CONTINUE TO UNDERINVEST IN MARKETING

Office supplies dealers are spending too little and on the wrong type of marketing. This is according to brand new research carried out by Office Power, which is available for dealers to download in full and for free from: OPI Dealer Support Channel Info Extensive research of office supplies dealers from across the UK revealed that 67% of dealers spend less than 1% of their turnover in marketing. The accepted industry average is between 9% and 13%. The research also points to dealers being over-reliant on subsidised marketing provided by wholesalers and dealer groups, irrespective of its effectiveness in achieving their objectives.
